Welcome to Mysteries and Monuments of the Old Republic, an unofficial fan site dedicated to exploring the worlds and people of the Star Wars films and the Expanded Universe. This website will hopefully become a useful resource for all those interested in the wonderful creation of
George Lucas which has been expanded upon in novels, comics,
roleplaying games, computer games and many other different and
varied media. The specific aim will be to examine many aspects of the Star Wars universe from the ancient civilisations to the people whose actions changed history.

Though the site explores primarily the time period before Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope, when the Old Republic reached its peak and then fell into its twilight, there will be sections on the other fascinating periods of Star Wars history, including the Empire / Rebellion, New Republic and New Jedi Order.

Features:
In here you will find articles on the characters, groups / organisations, locations, technology and events that were important in the Old Republic. There are also three specific sections which have their own area: Enemy of the Republic, Champion for the Republic and Clone Wars.

EU World:
This is the review area of the website, which examines all the material published by Lucas-licensed companies from comics to computer games.

Holo Shorts:
Currently in development, these will be comedy shorts made in Macromedia Flash, based around the holo-report archives of an inept art critic turned Clone War-correspondent.

Beyond the Old Republic:
This section will look at the Star Wars Galaxy in the other time periods - the Empire, New Republic and New Jedi Order.

Galaxy map and timeline:
Currently in development, these two will provide a useful resource when exploring this site.

Fan Fiction:
An area dedicated to fiction written by fans of the films and EU. These are obviously unofficial and unauthorised stories.

Flash Games:
I currently have several flash games in development based on Star Wars, the main one being the adventure game "The Merchant of the Minos Cluster". Visit here to have a go.

Web Links:
From the official sites, to the message boards, to the fan sites, there are hundreds of websites out there on Star Wars and this section will provide a jump point to many of them.

Please take your time to visit all the areas and I hope you enjoy what I have done so far.
